SOCIAL MOVEMENTS AND SOCIAL CHANGE

Summary/Abstract: Based on the need for dialogue and entwined sociological and historical approach in the investigation of historyicity of society, the article applies the common typology of movements (historical, cultural, political) in conceiving a study of Yugoslav society. Thus the war time national liberation movement is viewed as a historical movement, 1968-1974 student movement as cultural and political movement, while certain indications of emergence of new social movements have also been given due consideration.
