Way of the Rosary from Reszel to Święta Lipka in terms of historical, social and religious

Summary/Abstract: In the article was presented way of the Rosary, who is located on the pilgrimageroute, between Reszel and Święta Lipka, where along it have been set 15 baroque rosaryshrines and a few other religious objects. The issue of the article has been shown in termsof historical, social and religious.The pilgrim tract, at whom have been located the rosary shrines, was and isimportant road and often pedestrian pilgrimage trail. It has been connected physically,socially and spiritually not only two historical regions, but also states. In particular, afterthe Prussian Homage in 1525, the route has become important in terms of religious, becauseit has joined polish catholic Warmia with prussian protestant Masuria, and also people withdifferent religious confession. In the 18th century in the era of the counter-reformationand the baroque in Poland, for the sake of numerous pilgrimages have erected just onthe tract the 15 rosary shrines. The author shows too contemporary history of the shrinesand activity for helping in preservation the important cultural heritage of the region –the precious object of religious worship, history and tourism.
