Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on two fundamenta\l issues, which are primarily related to modern threats resulting from mental disorders analysed mainly in terms of addiction (both substantial and behavioural) as well as educational interactions, applicable in preventing and minimising mental disorders. Apart from the issues mentioned in the study, the article presents the approximate rate and determinants of the phenomenon of mental disorders in the Polish society.
