Summary/Abstract: Che Guevara, the Christ Figure of the Guerrilla Fighters. In this article, we analyze the iconographic itinerary of the photograph of the dead body of Ernesto «Che» Guevara, as well as «Che» Guevara’s impact on various forms of the imaginary, from his early reception in the Andean popular worldview to his transformation into a capitalist advertising icon. Such a process would not have been possible without the religious analogies of the original image and the iconographic dialogue between the figures of Jesus Christ and the "Che" Guevara.
