Summary/Abstract: This article represents the first part of a work dealing whit the relationship between Yugoslav sociology and socialism in the period 1945. to 1990. Tie relationship between Yugoslav socilogy and socialism was on the first place determined by the changes happening to the ruling colectiveowner class and its political organization - Communist Party.
