Summary/Abstract: Findings of a survey of economic elites’ members are analyzed in the article. The sample included 325 respondents: top civil servants, politicians, bankers, managers, and entrepreneurs. Gender, age, and education stnicture of elite sub-groups are compared. Education level of entrepreneurs is the lowest one. Intra- and inter-generational mobility is analyzed. All economic elite sub-groups are open, entrepreneurs being an exception (their social origin is higher, indicating that the position power is an important precondition for entering the stratum). Organization asset" is studied, and it is found out that the importance of economic institutions is growing as opposed to political institutions which are gradually losing influence.
