Summary/Abstract: Analyzing the concept of conservatism in its various theoretical and practical manifestations author is coming to the conclusion: neither political conservatism is aimed at against any social change nor any tendention to justify and sustain existing social order provide the sign of itself. Main argument to discus on conservativity of "bourgeois sociologists" is given with author's thesis: general social system theory is so abstract, "ahistorical" and "apolitical" that could be related to any historical period. Grounds of enduring and functioning of the social system are neither regressive nor progressive, neither liberal nor conservative in itself. Its nature depends on application of general system theory on the concrete social and historical conditions. Otherwise, general system theory can be more or less logically coherent, more or less correct, but could not be appreciated as conservative or progressive in itself.
