Summary/Abstract: The article presents a sociological perspective on the body that is conceived with and through Nina Nikolova, a perspective different from hers but equally inspired by Bourdieu. The object of analysis is the additional dimension, symbolic and doubling the physical dimension, of the authorization-laden body of the virtuoso, the charismatic or the prophet. Through the methodological instruments of the theory of practical logic, and through thought experimenting with a literary case, a practical logical analysis of these three is presented – an analysis in which the garment representing one of the symbolic attributes of delegation is an essential condition of the symbolic efficiency of the performative actions and discourse of the authorized virtuoso.
