Summary/Abstract: In the first part of the article are analysed students political movements in 1968. in USA, France and Germany. Under the influence of Marxist ideas, Herbert Marcuse and other progressive intellectuals, students demanded for radical changes not only of University organisation, but of capitalist system as well. However, the political effects of these actions were serious, they could not change capitalist system. Demonstrations of Belgrade students in 1968. particularly at Faculty of Philosophy that was their idelogical center, were echo of student movements in the world.
