Summary/Abstract: The subject of this analysis is correspondence between Sociological Association of Serbia and sociologists ffom Europe and worlđ conducted during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. It is not my aim to dispute or examine political attitudes presented in the correspondence. My aim is to examine the structure of the arguments and to show philosophical presuppositions that stand behind them. Scientist, politicians and joumalist have been using these arguments, and therefore their importance is larger.
