Summary/Abstract: This article is Polish translation of Arrian’s treatise called ‘Battle order against the Alans’. This work was probably written at the turn of the years 130 – 137, when the Alanic tribesmen attacked the Roman province of Cappadocia managed by Arrian of Nicomedia. This essay is one of the most interesting and important sources for battle tactics of the imperial Roman Army. The article contains it’s polish translation with an introduction and commentary.
