Summary/Abstract: Turkey’s interest in Iraq is an intense pursuit of the strategic interests of the forces in the international arena and the future of the region is determined by forces trying to dominate the world. The future of the peoples of Iraq, whose map is redrawn every day for the sake of energy wars, is also determined by the defenders of the new world order. Therefore, Iran-Iraq War, the Gulf Wars, and the US occupation of Iraq by armed struggles have been fought in recent history of the country. All these wars and struggles have had significant economic, social, political, and military impacts on Turkey. Within the perspective of our interests, it is crucial for Turkey to have a right to comment both on the future of the Turkmens and on the regional security and stability.
