POSSIBILITY OF PROPHETHOOD AS A KALAM PROBLEM

Summary/Abstract: This study deal with the possibility of the prophethood which emerged within the Muslim community internally. The aim of this study is not to find out an answer what is the meaning of God's sending of the prophets, but the main topic is to focus on whether it is compulsory on God to send prophet or not from the perspective of His Divine Attributes. This problem will be investigat¬ed according to schools of Salafiyyah, Ashariyyah, Maturidiyyah, Mutazilah, Shia, Karamiyyah, Zahiriyyah (Ibn Hazm), and Muslim philosophers respec¬tively.
