Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the presentation of the reemigration of the Czechs from Yugoslavia to Czechoslovakia after the World War II in the articles of the compatriot journal Jednota(„Unity“). The topic is examined on the basis of content analysis. The period between 1946–1950 was chosen for the purpose of the article. During this time, a targeted reemigration of theCzechs from Yugoslavia to their homeland was established. As a part of analysis, relevantarticles were searched for in the journal and categorized to answer the research question. Thearticle deals with migration and re-emigration, the concept of “foreigners and returnees”. Inmore detail it analyzes national minorities and the territory of former Yugoslavia. These topicsare further discussed in the analysis of a selected journal. The journal Jednota („Unity“) is oneof the examples of journalistic activity, which contributed to popularization of language andculture of the minority.
