OBJECTIONS TO THE POSSIBILITY AND SIGNS OF THE MIRACLE

Summary/Abstract: The prophethood exists in very Heavenly Religion. The command and prohibition of God can be conveyed to the people by this way. One’s declaration to be a prophet is really a great claim. The prophecy cannot be experienced by the others, therefore the proof of it needs to be supported by the rational and sensible miracles. This is only way to distinguish between the real prophet and false prophet. Although some scholars believe that the miracles confirm the prophecy, there are others who do not believe in the status of the miracles. In this article, it will be discussed the objections about possibility and confirmative status of miracle from the Islamic Theology perspectives.
