The Certified Translation of School Records

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, legalised translation occupies an important place on the Romanian market. The translator’s job has become more and more challenging lately, as there are so many translation tools and such strong competition in the field. In this context, the AML department aims at producing the best translators of all kinds, who become mediators among cultures after graduation. This article aims at combining theory and practice in order to emphasize the rules of translation theory in the case of legalised translations of diplomas. The conclusion contains several pedagogical aspects that can result from such practice and that could be used for improving translation teaching courses.
