Summary/Abstract: In this study the relationship between technological progress andcompetitiveness was analyzed by using panel co-integration method with elevencountries with annual data covering the period 2006-2016. As a technology indicator,scientific and technical journal articles, which the World Bank specified as one ofthe technological indicators, was used in analysis. To conduct panel co-integrationanalysis, Levin, Lin, Chu unit root test and Im, Pesaran, Shin unit root test andJohansen co-integration test were applied. According to Levin, Lin, Chu unit root testand Im, Pesaran, Shin unit root test, variables are stationary. As a result, a positiverelationship was found between technological progress and competitiveness.
