Summary/Abstract: Lord E. D. Fitzmaurice, previous Minister in Great Britain, mentioned that „The Hungarians adopted a violent and blind policy towards the minorities submissive to the Hungarian crown, particularly towards the Romanians.”The American newspaper editor, Milton G. Lehrer, considered that “by tearing apart the masque that the Hungarian revisionism showed for hundreds of years in Transylvania, the Occident can draw the real conclusions.”Dücsö Csaba in his work „Nics Kegyelen” mentioned that „The blood of Attila, Arpad and Gingis Han flows through our veins!” Probably this is what explains the massacres committed by the Hungarians in Harghita and Covasna counties, after the so-called revolution of December 1989. A complex study, highly appreciated in the Occident, referring to the psychology of the Romanian people, mentions that the psychosocial distance perceived by the Romanian majority and Hungarian minority is the smallest in Romania, because of embracing a more open policy as compared to other European states.Furthermore, Romanians believe that all religions have the same level of morality and this generates a high level of tolerance.
