Summary/Abstract: This study examines the introduction of logic into the Islamic world and the studies of early Muslim logicians. The introduction of logic into Islamic world was very important for development of Islamic sciences. Logicians such as Huneyn b. İshak translated Aristoteles’s works (Organon) and Porpyrios’s Isagogie into Arabic. With their translation, the study of logic became popular in the Islamic world. Following these translations, Muslim philosophers such as Kindi, Ikhwan al-Safa, Farabi and Ibn Sina produced original works on logic. This study presents their approaches to logic and gives the list of their works.
