Summary/Abstract: According to Abdulkahir el-Cürcânî Quran’s inimitability depends on its (nazm) unique discourse arrangement . The Quranic discourse arrangement is means to take care of syntactic meanings between its words and phrases. The syntactic meanings that he means are difference from syntactic rules. They consist of application of necessities such as separation and joining, proposing and postposing. According to him the meaning has a dominant role in evaluating speaking fairly and eloquency and correctness of composition. He is one the supporters for descriptive literature critique. In addition to the other literature criterions he put forward the syntactic meanings for evaluate the text. He eliminated the views of preceded scholars for inimitability of Quran and decided that its inimitability depends on its unique composition. His book “ Dalaal aleajaz” “evidences of inimitability” constitutes the foundation of “ilm al-maani” “science of meanings” and the book “Asrar al-balağa” “secrets of eloquence” constitutes the foundation of “ ilm al-badi va’l-bayan” “science of adornment and explanation”.
