Engineer Aurel Nicolae Jula (27 January 1939 – 30August 2018)

Summary/Abstract: Through this article we pay tribute to the diplomat engineer Aurel Jula, a member of the Division of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science of the Romanian Committee of History and Philosophy of Science and Technology. His scientific research activity is at the intersection of several areas, namely: construction, organization, operational research, psychological testing, artificial intelligence, expert systems; interdisciplinary studies are, in fact, the true passion of engineer Jula. The preoccupations for the didactic activity are reflected by the collaboration at various time periods with the Departments of Mechanics and Organization of the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest.
