Summary/Abstract: The introduction of a one-off cash benefit for pensioners and disability pensioners in 2019 is aimed at reducing income disparities in society. The group of beneficiaries specified in the Act includes various groups of pensioners and is broader than the group pensioners specified in the title of the Act. The author notes that the right to a one-off cash benefit for all pensioners, regardless of their individual pension amount, is a very favourable solution for persons with lower benefits.
