Summary/Abstract: In his early works Heidegger focusses the problem of factic living experience using the analysis of Christian religious experience. The aim of this paper is to reveal the character of this Heidegger’s interest for Christianity and to determine the significance of his dialogue with Christian thinkers for the development of his fundamental ontology. Heidegger’s analysis of Christianity is interpreted in view of its contribution to philosophy of religion as the phenomenology of religion.
