Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present problems connected with the evaluation of hospital health care services which are related to the method of health care services contracting by the National Healthcare Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia), changes in legal regulations which concern the functioning of cost calculation in hospitals and unclear principles of health care services selling on commercial terms. The analysis of literature and valid juristic acts which regulate problems connected with the evaluation of public hospital health care services was realized.
