A cross-cultural comparison on appraisals of work organization and satisfaction with it between Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia

Summary/Abstract: The following cross-cultural study conducted in Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia is aimed to compare appraisals about the level of work organization according to certain criteria and satisfaction with it. Two questionnaires are used: a Questionnaire for work analysis and its organization and a Question¬naire for work satisfaction. Results of the whole samples from the three coun¬tries are presented and analyzed as well as between groups from private and state firms and organizations. Significant differences between the three counties are established accord¬ing to the parameters of work content, its organization and satisfaction with them. It is supposed that ways of work organization and satisfaction with it depend to a great extent to the socio-economic conditions, culture and tradi¬tions in the three Balkan countries — Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia.
