Summary/Abstract: On 13 April 2018, the Lawyers’ Committee for Cultural Heritage Preservation hosted its 9th annual conference at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, DC, “Conversations on Hard Topics”. The panels addressed issues ranging from the Ukraine and related cultural heritage cases, the rights of religious and ethnic minorities in the Middle East, to the laws protecting Native American cultural heritage and the provenance of objects in museum collections.
