ACCORDING TO HIS BOOK “ES-SAVÂIKU’L-MÜRSELE”, IBN KAYYIM’S CONSEPT OF EXEGESIS

Summary/Abstract: Ibn’i Kayyim’s book of es-Savaiku’l-Mürsele ’ale’l-Cehmiyye ve’l-Muattıla, is discussing many aspects related to the exegesis of the Quran and hereby, despite not written about methodology, is offering quite many principles related to the method. Even if these are generally philological, besides ıt contains important points such as context, purpose of talker, totality approach. Our aim to prepare this article is to show in a definite single work that our classical literature consists a lot of principles of exegesis and method and to contribute to discussions of methodology in Islamic Sciences.
