Summary/Abstract: The present study concerns the issue of personal data protection. Following implementation of the EU Regulation of 2016 (GDPR), the Catholic Church in Poland adapted its law to new requirements. The study begins with an overview of the legal solutions applied before 2018 and recalls the problems arising in that period. In the following part, the author outlines the content of the Polish Bishops’ Decree on Personal Data Protection, implemented in May 25, 2018.
