Summary/Abstract: The strong resistance against Fascism on the part of the Slovenes in Primorje came up soon after the World War I owing to the Italian occupation and the resulting severe regime of the Fascist government. This is why the ground for the development of the Liberation Front and the partisan movement was here particularly favourable.
