Summary/Abstract: The history of the Romanian Secret Police is well represented in the historical literature of the past 20 years, which produced a huge amount of professional studies. The Hungarian literature is quite skimpy compared to this. The analyses and studies examining the SP and the orthodox church’s relationship exceed too the quantity and quality of writings revealing their connection comparing to what the Hungarian speaking Reformed Church in Romania produced concerning its contact to the SP. As far, as the research process in concerned it is still at the very beginning and hardly can deploy some simple writings with subjective overtone. There in only one single book published in 2009, which genre can difficultly be circumscribed: only with benevolence it could be looked upon as source exploration, because “denunciation” or “stigmatization” of the former re-formed secret agents cannot be included in any scientific categories of the church history. Concerning the events and personnel of the Transylvanian Reformed Church, studies, based on the data which can be found in SP archives, only in Romanian language was made so far.
