Summary/Abstract: The paper is the retrospective view into the history of fine arts intended to remind us the important artistic figures who, through their collecting activiteis and interest in artworks produced by people with handicap, both pointed at importance of creative activities in the treatment of individuals with intellectual disabilities and transferred these procedures to their artistic work.
