EARLY THEORETICAL THOUGHT OF MIODRAG PAVLOVIĆ

Summary/Abstract: The paper seeks to highlight some of the more important aspects of the early theoretical thought of the literature of Miodrag Pavlović. In that sense, the emphasis was put on his first critical-essay book, The Terms of Poetry (1958), in which the author, as a young thinker, at that time, presents very modern views of literature and poetry, but also the convincing reflections of the creative process itself. Pavlovic will already represent his explicit views on the lyric, as early as articulated, in his poetic creation, but on the other hand, this theoretical thought will anticipate his future poetic aspirations.
