Summary/Abstract: On the evening of December 21, 1923 the participants in the creation of the Macedonian Scientific Institute (MSI) departed from the hall №10 of the Sofia Universi-ty St. Kliment Ohridski with the thought that marked “the beginning of a great work”. One of the founders, the Ohrid chronicler Eftim Sprostranov ended the same day at 22 pm his daily journal entries tired but happy, with the hope that the Institute will be strengthened and will “move to free and independent Macedonia, where it will become an Academy of Sciences of pride and glory for Macedonian Bulgarian”.
