Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to present life of Kiliczade Hakki, whose articles and opinions were extensively spoken and discussed after II. Constitutional Period and his viewpoint about Siyer writing. Life of Kiliczade Hakki, his works and views about Prophet Mohammed have been researched. Kiliczade has asserted that the superstitions and tales must be bowdlerized and the human side of Prophet Mohammed has to be highlighted in Siyer writing. He has not written a Siyer book. Yet, criticizing the works written in his time, he has put forth his opinions about Siyer writing for consideration. In this article, we have essayed to designate the viewpoints and critics of Kiliczade Hakkı regarding Siyer writing, besides his life.
