Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the attitudes of parents on Religion and Morals course and also factors affecting these attitudes. The universe of the study, constructed in descriptive scanning method, consists of parents inhabited in Diyarbakır during 2011-2012 educational period. The sample of the study consists of randomly defined 980 parents. Data collection is done by utilization of the scale of Altaş on “Attitudes of Parents on the Courses of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge”. The findings of the research imply that where the attitudes of the parents on the lesson are high, the attitudes on the activities of the course (syllabus) are comparably low.
