Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the confrontation of a minor witness in a criminal trial. According to the author, the current law of criminal proceedings does not provide for barriers to the participation of a minor witness (victim) in confrontation. From the point of care for the protection of the good of a minor witness, the most important issue is the creation of appropriate conditions to ensure comfort and mental safety. Therefore the age of a minor should be considered the basic factor to be always considered. From the point of view of caring for the protection of the good of the child and limiting the negative consequences of his participation in criminal proceedings, each subsequent participation in the criminal procedure should be limited.
