Summary/Abstract: The study is a summary of the author’s previous independent research, which ex-plores the possibilities of children’s yoga in preschool facilities. The text itself is di-vided into the following parts: the explanation of basic concepts, objectives, hypoth-eses, organization of the research, methods, results, discussion, conclusions and recommendations for practice. We describe the methods and analyse yoga classes in preschool facilities, which were attended by children during the years 2015–2018 as an interest group. In the discussion about long-term research results, conclusions are drawn, then recommendations for practice are formulated as well. The aim of the research is to present the possibilities of children’s yoga in preschool facilities. Next, we verify the effects of yoga on children and try to look for new opportunities in the field of child yoga in kindergartens. At the same time, we point out the possibility of using yoga positions not only in yoga classes but also outside them with groups of children attending pre-primary education. The research used quantitative and qual-itative methods: induction, deduction, data analysis, generalization, free and struc-tured interview method, where the main question addressed to parents referred to the observed changes before and throughout the duration of yoga classes. At the same time, methods of observation, imitation, game-playing and storytelling were used. Pre-liminary results highlight the applicability of yoga in kindergartens not only in interest groups, but also in the work of pre-school educators dealing with problems of behav-iour, speech or movement.
