On “divination” in the area of the Džakule village

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author describes several customs, rituals and ways of treating certain human and animal diseases. The following customs were recorded in the Džakule village and were still practiced in the traditional life of the population in the Gračanica area until about thirty or forty years ago. This article represents a small contribution to the study of otherwise uninvestigated folk medicine and traditional healing methods in Gračanica and the local area.
