Summary/Abstract: In this study, according to the Job Satisfaction Scale applied in 2012 and 2018, the change in the levels of job satisfaction of the teachers, who are going to schools at different distances to reach their positions, has been examined depending on the years. In addition, job satisfaction levels are discussed in terms of seniority and distance traveled. Cluster sampling method was chosen as the survey model and sample selection method. The research universe consisted of the teachers working in the primary schools in the central district of Niğde in the 2012-2013 / 2018-2019 academic years. The Job Satisfaction Scale developed by J. Spector (1994) was used in the study. The reliability coefficient of the study was found to be =.82. When the results are analyzed, for the data of 2012, there is a significant difference between the job satisfaction scores of the teachers in terms of the distance they make. These significant differences were disappeared in 2018.
