Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the status of a defender in the proceedings of the nullity of marragie after the reform of the marriage process by Pope Francis, Mitis Iudex Dominus Iesus. Attention is paid to the tasks of the defender of the bond at all stages of this proceeding. In the proceeding, the defender of the bond is summoned to gather all the arguments in favour of the validity of the marriage.
