Summary/Abstract: Bâbur-nâma (Vekayî), which is the first example of memoirs in Turkish literature, information about the places that are visited is given. The Bâbur, whose life spans through wars and conquests, has revealed all aspects of his work. The work is of great value in terms of the fact that the Bâbur himself wrote it. In his work, Bâbur reflected the life style of the period with a sincere style, and at the same time, he took an autobiographical approach. The work written in three parts of Fergana, Kabul and history begins in 5 Ramadan 899 (10 Hazirian 1494) and ends in 3 Muharram 936 (7 September 1529). The work, also known as Bâburname or Vekayî, has taken its place among the masterpieces of Çağatay literature. Translated into many world languages, such as German, English, Russian, XV. by the end of the century XVI. it contains important information about Central Asia, Afghanistan and India at the beginning of the century.
