Summary/Abstract: The concept of textile design has made a rapid progress in the perspective of the gainings of the postmodern age and turned into a sector where the phenomenon of competition is experienced at the extreme points. The most precise way to increase competitiveness is to create original designs and use technological applications. Especially when the textile design sector is examined, it is observed that there is an intense demand for this field. To meet this demand, there are many institutions with short term courses on textile design covering 4-5 months. The purpose of this research is to develop a course program for the textile sector, to introduce a scientific study by providing the participation of 4 companies and 15 trainees within the scope of a course program determined through the use of a non-probabilistic paradigm method of the opinions and evaluations of the sector regarding the sufficiency of these programs and expectations from such programs in terms of the designer to be employed in the sector, training process, material and technical information transfer. The data were finalized under appropriate headings in the framework of the analysis of the information obtained from the trainees and companies.
