Summary/Abstract: In his discussion the author states that in 1946 reconstruction of economy was the most significant and urgent task pursued by both the federal and republics' governments, as well as the prime objective of the country's economic policy. In its most important form, aiming at the pre-war industrial output level, the reconstruction was basically completed in 1946, which provided for and accelerated the preparations for drafting the five-year economic development plan.
