Summary/Abstract: Every human being is invited to assume responsibility for the shape of his or her own humanity through self-education. The aim of this article is to outline the essential aspects of christian self-education. It covers both anthropological and theological aspects, as well as psychological, ethical-moral, socio-cultural and religious-ascetic aspects.
