Summary/Abstract: The author describes Dr. Korošec's inter-war activity. Five months before the start of the Great War Dr. Korošec became presidend of the Croato-Slovene parliamentary club in Vienna. Quarels within the Slovene Popular Party, the death of Krek, Korošec's speech at the open grave of krek's, all this enabled him to become the leader of the party as well as principal representative of the Slovene political circles. It also illustrates Korošec's understanding of the Slovene status in terms of legal and constitutuonal parameters – from a representative of the Slovene type of trialism, through radical stands, to the claim maid to the emperor that a monarchy based on such foundations can no longer be saved.
