Summary/Abstract: On the basis of official records and other papers the author initially examines the reasons for which a nationalisation took place in the People’s Republic of Slovenia in 1958 that affected a large number of leased buildings and construction land. In the second part an analysis is made of the nationalisation law and its implementation in the 1959-62 period.
