Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the problem of the Slovenian national autonomy orientation in the first Yugoslav state, identifying the tendencies within all ideo-political camps - catholic, liberal, socialist and communist between 1918 and 1941. In particular, he points out that in 1923 Slovenian autonomy and emancipation was also advocated by the National Socialist Party, the Slovenian Autonomist Association and the Socialist Workers’ Party, in other words, those promoters of Slovenian autonomy which were connected by the socialist, but not revolutionary, orientated idea of a social and political system.
