Organizational Culture and Leadership Behavior

Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the relation organizational culture – leadership behavior. The author clarifies specificity of the organizational culture and offers a SWOT-analysis of different organizational cultures, according to the popular classifications of Ch. Handy and D. Hargreaves. The stress is put opportunities and threats for leader of the organization. The needed competencies(according to R. Boyatzis) for leader of the educational organization, including for leader of a social child institution are presented.
