The Seventeenth ‘Jews and Moravia’ Conference in Kroměříž

Summary/Abstract: The seventeenth Židé a Morava [Jews and Moravia] conference was held at the Museum of Kroměříž Region on 10 November 2010. The participants were presented with a collection of papers given at last year’s conference, which was published by the above museum with the support of the Nadační fond obětem holocaustu [Foundation for Holocaust Victims] as part of the Programme for the Support of Educational Activities Related to Judaism. The conference was attended by over 70 people interested in the past and present of the Jewish population of Moravia and Silesia, including university teachers and their students, archivists, museum specialists, members of civic associations and private researchers.
