CRITICAL THINKING EDUCATION IN TURKISH LITERATURE COURSES

Summary/Abstract: An open mind and evolutionary thinking carry weight in our changing world. Modem education will be realized by putting modem curriculum into practice. Critical thinking, which provides students modern and reasonable strategies, is the skill that every person needs to gain. Many studies and research have been done to promote real the effective and modern education. Investments in education should be increased and the innovative education system should be created in this information age. Turkish Literature curriculum which has been used since 2005 is the favorable development to provide non-memorizer education and directivity to student- centred education. Activities for critical thinking ability are also placed in the new curriculum, and critical thinking is the subject that everybody should emphasize.
